Day 1: Coastal Life and Quinta Avenida
Focus on getting your bearings. Playa del Carmen is designed on a grid. "Calle" (streets) run east-west, and "Avenida" (avenues) run north-south. Most of the action happens between 10th Avenue and the beach.
Morning
Start with breakfast at Que Huevos on Calle 48. It is a local favorite for chilaquiles and coffee. From there, walk south toward Mamita’s Beach Club.
