Expect heavy crowds during Memorial Day weekend. June
Summer has arrived. Highs average 100°F (38°C) and lows stay at 69°F (21°C). You will spend most of your time indoors or submerged in a pool. October
October offers the best weather of the year. Highs are 81°F (27°C) and lows are 54°F (12°C). You can walk the entire Strip without breaking a sweat or needing a heavy jacket. Prices are higher because of the perfect weather and a heavy convention calendar. It is the best time to visit the Fremont Street Experience for "Rock the Block" free concerts and Halloween-themed events that run throughout the month.
November
The desert cools down fast. Highs are 67°F (19°C) with lows of 41°F (5°C). You will need layers. Crowds are light during the first two weeks but surge during the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix and Thanksgiving. F1 turns the Strip into a high-speed circuit, causing significant traffic but offering an unparalleled spectacle. Avoid this month if you want a quiet, budget-friendly trip, as race logistics affect everything.
December
Vegas is cold in December. Highs are 57°F (14°C) and lows drop to 37°F (3°C). The first two weeks of the month are some of the cheapest and quietest of the year, as people stay home for the holidays. Things change during the National Finals Rodeo (NFR), which brings a "cowboy takeover" to the city.
