March in Chengdu

August in Chengdu
August is the peak of summer. It is the wettest month of the year. Temperatures stay consistently between 24°C and 31°C (75°F–88°F), but the "heat index" makes it feel much hotter. Despite the weather, tourist sites remain packed with domestic travelers. To escape the heat, take a day trip to Mount Emei.
