Cheapest Time to Visit Busan
To save money, visit Busan in January or February. This is the deep low season. Hotels—including high-end resorts in Haeundae and Gwangalli—slash prices by up to 40% compared to the August peak. Outside of the Lunar New Year (Seollal) dates, which vary by year, domestic travel is at a standstill. Flight prices into Gimhae International Airport are also at their lowest. When to Avoid Busan
Avoid Busan in August unless you specifically want a crowded beach party atmosphere. The combination of 90% humidity and shoulder-to-shoulder crowds on the sand makes sightseeing difficult.
